Cementerio de la Recoleta is a famous cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located in the Recoleta neighborhood and contains the graves of many prominent people. It was inaugurated on November 17, 1822, during the governorship of Brigadier General Martín Rodríguez, with Bernardino Rivadavia as his minister of government.
